The number of people dying from Covid-19 infection in India has exceeded three lakh. The daily death toll from the infection has not decreased. An additional 4,454 people have died in the last 24 hours of the coronavirus epidemic in India, the Indian Ministry of Health and Family Welfare said on Monday.

According to the ministry, 222,315 people have been newly infected in the last 24 hours and 237,28,011 people have been recovered since the beginning of Corona. There are still 2.72 million active infections in India.
The vaccination campaign against corona virus was launched in India on January 16. Since then, about 191.859 million 164 doses have been vaccinated.
